Terms of Service

Welcome to Revid.me (“Revid.me”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website https://revid.me/ (the “Site”) and the services provided by YiMeta Technology Limited through Revid.me (the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Site and Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to use the Services. By using the Services, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

2. Services

Revid.me provides digital content generation, AI-powered tools, and related services on a subscription or usage basis. Features, limits, pricing, and availability may be updated from time to time and will be displayed on the Site.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without liability.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you may need to create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information.

You are responsible for:

  • maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials;
  • all activities conducted under your account; and
  • ensuring your account information remains accurate and up to date.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts containing false, misleading, or incomplete information.

4. Subscription and Payment

Certain Services are provided on a paid subscription or credit basis.

By purchasing or subscribing to the Services, you agree to:

  • pay all applicable fees and taxes;
  • authorise recurring billing where applicable;
  • provide valid and current payment information; and
  • comply with the policies of our payment service providers.

All prices are displayed in the currency stated on the Site.

Failure to complete payment may result in suspension or restriction of access to the Services.

5. Refund Policy

Due to the digital and instantly accessible nature of the Services, all purchases are generally non-refundable once credits, generated content, or subscription benefits have been used.

However, we may provide refunds, credits, or account adjustments at our sole discretion in circumstances including:

  • duplicate payments;
  • technical failures preventing delivery of the Services;
  • unauthorised transactions verified by us; or
  • other situations where required under applicable law.

Refund requests must be submitted within seven (7) days of the transaction date by contacting service@revid.me.

We reserve the right to deny refund requests involving:

  • abuse of the refund system;
  • excessive usage before the request;
  • violation of these Terms; or
  • fraudulent or suspicious activity.

Chargebacks or payment disputes initiated without first contacting us may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

6. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Content

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You must not use the Services to create, upload, process, publish, or distribute content that:

  • violates any applicable law or regulation;
  • infringes any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
  • is fraudulent, deceptive, misleading, or intended to impersonate another person;
  • promotes violence, abuse, harassment, hate, or illegal activity;
  • contains pornography, sexually explicit material, or exploitative adult content;
  • depicts nudity or sexualised content involving minors;
  • involves non-consensual sexual content or non-consensual use of identifiable individuals;
  • violates payment network, card scheme, or payment provider policies; or
  • is otherwise harmful, unlawful, or objectionable in our reasonable opinion.

Revid.me strictly prohibits the use of the Services for pornography, explicit sexual content, or sexually exploitative material.

We reserve the right to block, remove, refuse to process, or restrict access to any content, account, or activity that violates these Terms.

7. Licence

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Revid.me grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Services for personal or internal business purposes.

8. Intellectual Property

All software, technology, branding, design elements, trademarks, content, and materials provided through the Services are owned by Revid.me, YiMeta Technology Limited, or their licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly permitted in writing, you may not:

  • copy;
  • reproduce;
  • modify;
  • distribute;
  • reverse engineer;
  • resell; or
  • create derivative works from the Services.

9. User Content

You are solely responsible for the content you upload, submit, generate, or distribute through the Services.

You represent and warrant that:

  • you own or have all necessary rights and permissions for such content;
  • your content does not violate any law or third-party rights; and
  • your use of the Services complies with these Terms.

We do not claim ownership of your lawful input or output content.

However, you grant us a limited worldwide licence to host, process, transmit, and analyse such content solely as necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Services immediately, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that:

  • you have violated these Terms;
  • your activity creates legal, financial, security, reputational, or operational risk;
  • required by law, regulation, court order, or payment provider request; or
  • necessary to protect the Services or other users.

You may cancel your subscription at any time.

Termination will not affect accrued rights, outstanding fees, or obligations existing prior to termination.

11. Disclaimer

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, Revid.me and YiMeta Technology Limited disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of:

  • merchantability;
  • fitness for a particular purpose;
  • non-infringement; and
  • uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We do not guarantee that the Services will always be secure, available, accurate, or free from errors.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of Hong Kong, Revid.me and YiMeta Technology Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of:

  • profits;
  • revenue;
  • business;
  • goodwill;
  • data; or
  • opportunities.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us during the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Revid.me, YiMeta Technology Limited, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, expenses, or legal fees arising from:

  • your use of the Services;
  • your content;
  • your violation of these Terms; or
  • your violation of any third-party rights or applicable law.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update or modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the Site with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Before initiating any legal proceedings, you agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally in good faith within thirty (30) days.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.

You agree that any claim must be brought individually and not as part of a class action or representative proceeding.
